I agree it is one of the best things ive done. I did mine to cut down on glare on my tv and i love how dark it is even on a sunny day. As for the HIDs im getting a set of xenon projectors retrofitted so after that i will have no problems

Mine either came like this stock or the previous owner tinted it...I have no idea what percentage it is but I would assume it's at our local legal limit. I wouldn't mind it being darker though...

my friend has crazy dark tints on his windows... I don't think it looks that good, it contrasts too much... it would have looked better if it were a little lighter

A light paint color will make any tint look darker so keep it at or below the legal limit for your area. If you live anywhere in the New England region then you undoubtedly know of law enforcement's affinity for messing with performance tuners for their tint.

True that! Know your states laws, even my rinky dink little town has a ill digital tint-meter. My freind who has a '96 i30 got a $250 ticket, and the undercovers used it as a valid reason to stop him, and we both got arrested for some other things. http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/

20% all the way around. It will pass for 35% if that's your local law. http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...52_31_full.jpg

I got 20% all around and it faded to 24% after 2 years of it parked in the streets.

If I were to do it again, I would say 15% all around would look the best.
