Car trouble
The last 2 gays or so i have noticed that my lights flash a lot whenever i have my system on. I know that they usally do this. But my problem is that they flash so much that all the lights go out(headlights, Taillights, Dash Gauges).
Now I tryed to turn off all the extra things that are on in the car i.e. system, radar, foglights. What i noticed what ever time i hit the gas or put the brakes on the lights dimmed low but not not flash.
I Took the battery to Get checked and it was fine. also i figured that if it was the Alternater but wouldn't the car have died by now.
Anyone have any clue to what it could be?

get alternator checked
I am taking you got some bump in the back by meaning system. Powering the sub(s) is putting tear on your alternator that why they make a capaciator to keep it from frying your alternator.

they are going to run 120 for a rebuild generally but that is for a stock amperage model 110 amp. A higher one will cost more but if you have a large system of over 1000 rms watts, rms being the key here, ya probably should invest in a higher output alternator. I did the math one day and added the amount of drain my 2 amps do (around 850watts rms) with accessories running than converted it to amperage and compared it to how much amperage the stock alternator puts out at idle and I had some breathing room still. But regardless ya better off getting a 125amp alternator now if ya need to replace it, ya should be able to find one for around 200.
