Removal of Antenna

I like listening to the local radio but something about the antenna being up bothers me. Anyone have a different setup? (besides xm and sirius)

There are two fm antennas. One is in the rear glass and the other is the power one. I installed a toggle switch on the power antenna wire behind the radio. Most of the time I get good recteption from the glass antenna but if i need better I just flip the switch.

The others should have it too. Check the owners manual for FM Diversity.

can you unplug something near the the antenna motor from the trunk?
