224,1xx. I bought the car at 218k, was to good of a price to pass down and its running like a champ, original motor and automatic tranny. Previous owner worked at a nissan dealership.

Edit: Previous owner was original owner as well. I've had for about 6 months now.

How you guys make 270 on original motor and tranny? You must all drive like 16 year old school girls that are out past curfue trying to get home as fast as possible but still drive slow enough so nobody pulls them over.

2nd Owner
2nd Motor
3rd Tranny

240k On body, 190k on first motor, second motor has 50k, first tranny has 190k. second had 60k, and third one has 101k.

126K on my 97SE. I am the original owner and the car in 100% stock. The only things that have ever been changed are the tires, brakes/rotors, O2 sensors, knock sensor, spark plugs, radiator fluid, transmission fluid, starter, battery, timing belt, air filter, and of course the oil and filter.

Can you post pics and a write up of that 'timing belt' job?

You pretty much nailed everything. Only difference is that 4th gens have timing chain so no timing belt.

Should also keep eye out for rad support as they tend to rust over time on 4th gens.

I went back and looked and the receipt from the dealer. It was the serpentine belt they changed, not the timing belt.

would this be a blower motor issue perhaps. I had to replace a capacitor/resistor sort of thing on my 95 Max, its just under neath the dash on the passenger side. that would be my first thing to check. my symptom was only one speed - 4

OK, post how many miles you have and state weather your motor is original or not.

My Max has 285,000+ miles, original motor.

Still looking like I have the highest milage Max so far......not sure that is something to brag about.
Not sure but maybe in top few on miles with original motor and trans @ 226 + miles.... What regular maintenance has been done to engine? besides the normal stuff? Im looking to get gaskets replaced on VC , UIM and any others while work is being done and things are apart.
