Hi, guys,
I have a trouble with my maxima now.
It need to crank for a long time to get started every time and sometimes I need to try several times.
I have it checked today and got some error codes, they are P1335, P0340 and P0325. Thay are about camshift position, crankshift position and knock sensors.
The mechanic said he need more time to figure out what's causing this problem and he already charged me $80. That makes me very annoyed and I decided to drive back home first.
Does anyone here can help me out?
Thanks a lot!
Repair the codes and you'll be back to normal, those sensors are responsible for a smooth start up. Change them reset the ecu and you should be fine.

you know your a ricer when you go to the speed shop to get gauges that monitor tire pressure.
thanx, guys.
do i need have those sensors replaced or it's just a problem of connections/wires? How much should it cost? I want to know more before I go to any garage.
BTW, who can recommend a good garage in columbus, oh?
dont know how much they cost, but buy new sensors and your problem should be fixed.

thanx, guys.
just got it fixed at the dealer's after replacing the cam and crank sensors.
yet i still donno why those sensors were bad. seems like it happened after my drive belts were broken and replaced.

so you changed the cam and crank sensors at the dealer and your car is fine now? i changed my crank but now i gues its time to check or change the cam sensor too.
get an ohm meter and ohm out the sensors. and compare to oem specs. i think its at 68 degrees. do not just replace the parts. check them first. if they are in spec, check MAF sensor and TPS sensor as well. dont overlook ECT either.

yes, the dealer said if the sensors were replaced, everything will be fine, so i let them do it and the problem is gone. i am still not sure if those sensors are really bad or just the connections or other thing related were bad.
in your case, did you get the error code for cam sensor too? if yes, maybe you can try to replace the cam sensor.
If you replaced, the starter, most of the sensors, and still have hard time starting up, its you timing chain that advanced, mine had the same problem.
