Any Wrapped Maximas?

Anyone use that wrap system instead of painting their car? Seems like you can get the carbon fiber look real cheap.

a cheap and potentially effective solution, but I'm sure the majority on here would rather have the car painted than wrapped. The wrap can chip, get scapes, air bubbles get in there. Best to save and repaint the whole car, you'll feel a lot better.

You can get a lot of interesting designs cheaper than paint though and you can apply it easily.

I think a carbon fiber wrap would look very good.

only wrapped vehicles i see are ones who do advertising, or its a promotional vehicle like one of a radio station or a sports team. i wouldnt do it for an every day car as a substitute for paint.

I can imagine this graphic process will become much cheaper in the future and there will be better reasons to wrap. I would consider a roof and a hood wrap if the price was under 100 bux.

Hey, I don't agree with the whole Pimp My Ride show because they never show the engine area. But the concept of cheap changing of the color is appealing. Just think of the posibilities. You could put Mona Lisa's painting on your car if you wanted. Or you could do some crazy rice one day and peel it off the next.

Modding is getting out of hand. Stick to y-pipes and intakes and avoid the ricer crap.

but a neon green vinyl job adds almost 20+WHP than a standard paint job.

and cmon, you can't argue with dyno data...

No only that, its aerodynamic. You will get Nascar downforce in the back to keep your tires on the road. Then you pull out the wings from the car and fly away. LOLOL. I prob killed it though.

Never say never. You can put this wrap on windows as well and can see through it fine. Here is a pic:
