WTF?code 0413?what is it?
I get 4 long pulses, 13 quick ones.
I've reset it, and it comes back every 200+ miles.
It shows undefined int he little decoder thing, but, why the hell does it keep coming back?
Thanks

I would also like to know if this code means anything...i got the same code twice...was just driving along, then noticed the dreaded yellow light. 04 series codes seem to have something to do with the air system, maybe it has something to do with that?

0413 - is one of the front O2 sensors... It;s not listed in my FSM - but I know its in the Haynes... I don't have that handy - but I'm sure someone does - if you neither of you two have a Haynes manual, get one - its worth the 20 bucks.
You can also pop over to Autozone and they'll pull the code and tell you what the problem is (i.e. which O2 sensor has failed).

Look at the post above yours... I put that there for a reason.

DUH. i know that left bank is front from reading that link.
I mean, isnt there somethign in the stickies though that explained it? I figured maybe in THERE there was an explanation of the code 0413. OTHERWISE, i feel it'd be good to add to one of the sticky pages. U see? Maybe my lack of grammar aided in the miscommunication.
On another note, who has the BEST deals on 02 sensors. So far, I found it for 75 shipped.
anything else? I'd like OEM, no splicing and such.

I agree we should add it to the stickies...
www.oxygensensors.com as good deals - get the Bosch OEM equivalents - they are plug and play (no splicing). Mention maxima.org and pay via one of their preferred methods and you'll get an additional discount... $75 sounds about right.
Cheers.

i30ds - do you have a copy of the FSM? I'd be glad to be proven wrong...
