Dont go injen, not the coldest air available, go with the place racing. I have the injen and the place, for CAI the place is where its at!

the injen is worthless, and too expensive, go PR style or just keep the stock box

Does warpspeed still sell their copy cats of PR for $140?

are the true cold air intakes really better than the injen, im not saying the injen intake is all that, just curious, soon i will be replacing my intake and i would certainly consider a true cai, the injen just looks so good,

speaking of which, how good of quality if the injen look alike intake off ebay, is it a total cheap intake or just as good of quality as injen ?

the thing with the injen intake is that they placed it right next to the radiator, and it still sucks up a lot of warm air because of the heat the engine gives off. The PR intake("true CAI) goes into your fender, away from the engine hence the "true CAI" name

A member did a comparison with the m/p vs POP w stock resonator, but not the CAI's, seems like m/p isn't the way to go though.

i had the look-a-like from ebay, and from the real injen, the only difference i can tell was no INJEN logo, CARB EO number, and the filter was a no-name and really small, but i guess for 60 bux you get what you get.

I understand that the Injen is placed behind the radiator, but does it really make that much of a difference at speed? I have one, and I noticed a big difference over stock (butt dyno).

I'd like to see a dyno comparison, but it's hard to get a nice air flow for a CAI on a dyno.

imo, i think most people buy Injen b/c of the brand name and looks of course.
what they don't realize is wht mr ducky said. just go w/ a cheap cai off of ebay. same affect as a pr

Interesting...how much can I get a PR for? I asked about Injen because I had one in my 97 and LOVED the look and sound...power is important but unless the PR is THAT much cheaper and THAT much more effective, I'd still like to pick up a cheap injen...anyone know where I can find that?

injen isn't as bad as everyone is saying. It sounds awesome and it adds noticeable top end. My car would never break the tires loose at the top of first but now when i take off from a slow start and floor it the tires will chirp then spin the top of first and i chirped 3rd i got mine for $235 shipped from a local performance shop
