Vehicle weight confusion
#1
Hi folks,
I'm a little confused about the weight of my car...
It seems like everyone on the board here says the 4th gen Max should weigh about 3200 lbs...
hmm...
I was telling my buddies at work how light my car is and of course they wanted to see, so we went over, looked inside the door, and it says...
4273 LBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so what's with that? Are these wieghts different for a reason (why?), or are we all just misinformed?
Thanks
Justin

ok, GVW = Gross Vehicle Weight, this is what your car actually weighs.
GVWR = Gross Vehicle Wieght Rating, this is the max weight, including passengers, cargo and fuel that the vehicle is made to support.
That 4200 lb figure is the GVWR...not the GVW.
