tailight removal

tailight removal

how the heck am i to remove it in the trunk, not on the trunk lid? I want to clear it, and i removed 4 nuts onto fixed bolts, then tried hammering on the bolts but cant get the freaking lights out, anyone provide me a how-to link thanks.

after you remove the 4 nuts.. DO NOT HAMMER THEM ANYMORE!!.. the only thing left holding them in, is the sealing tape on the outside of the car. its a VERY sticky black adhesive. its all thats holding them in.. all you have to do, is push them REALLY HARD.. if you cant get them to move, cause it is cold out, get a heat gun, or a hair dryer, and heat up the metal on the inside of the trunk around where you clip the bulbs in.. do it for a min or two, and then push... push it out from the plastic where the bulbs go in, not from where you screw the nuts on.. it can be very stuborn, but all you have to do is push hard

just push hard from the inside.. it's really hard bcoz of dat sticky black adhesive ...

click on the above how- to stickies for some good instructions.. you can use an oven , set to about 200 and leave em in for about 10 min, or use a heat gun.. just be patient with them

i have a silver maxima. do you think i should tint the bottom of the lights of just clear them?
