Won't accelerate past 3,000 rpms

Hi everyone. I'm at my wits end with this problem. Feel like I have tried everything. So, the car is a 97 Max GLE with 304k miles. As of about a month ago, the car suddenly would idle but would not rev about 2500 rpm. Replaced Throttle position sensor. That problem went away. But now, the car just will not accelerate. It will crawl up to speed, but if you floor it, nothing happens at all. It will also jerk and sputter at times too. I feel like I have tried everything. Replaced MAF, TPS, camshaft position sensor, new spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter. Timing chain a couple years back. I even went to dealership as last resort and When codes are pulled they show MAF, TPS, camshaft, all of which have just been replaced!! They are suggesting it could be the main engine wiring harness, but I don't know. Have any of you experienced this? Thank you so much.

Many of us have replaces the MAF for this condition.

Generally factory oem ones, even from a wrecking yard function better than the aftermarket ones.

Do a search in this forum for similar stories in the past.
