Replacing rear brake pads and rotors

I desperately need to replace my rear bake pads and rotors. I am strapped for alot of cash right now but not strapped for time. Is this a project I can tackle on my own on the weekend or do i need to let someone else do it? If I can tackle it on my own can you guys explain exactly what to do or even better give pictures? Well any advice on this matter I would appreciate. Thanks

Rear brakes do very little of the overall braking but you could just get "factory style" rotors and get some "good" pads like ceramic/semi metallic... You can look below to see if you want to tackle the job.
