any way to quiet down the engine?
I have a '99 SE with about 109k miles on it. It's a 5 speed and I know my clutch (throw-out bearing from original clutch) makes some of the noise under the hood but I remember the engine being more quiet when the car was newer. Is there anything that can be done to make the engine quieter? My sister has a 97 camary v6 with 105k miles and you can hardly tell the engine is even running. I'm jealous and want mine to be that quiet.
note: the engine is stock; no intake, exhaust, UPD or any modifications to the engine. I also use synthetic oil since about 10k miles and my tranny has redline mt-90 in it. I'm getting about 24 miles/gallon mixed highway/city driving. All regular maintance has been done to try and keep this engine running for at least another 100k miles.
Any ideas without doing a engine overhaul?
TIA for all comments.

Read the Lubricants forum.
This is NOT going to turn into another Seafoam thread.

Don't worry tke148 - there are no stuipd questions, only stupid answers.
You can find Seafoam at any NAPA autoparts store. The product website is here: http://www.seafoamsales.com/motorTuneUp.htm.
