Clutch problem

I was on the way home this evening and my clutch pedal was way too soft, and when i tried to shift gears I had to litterally jam it into gear. Does any one have any idea what this may be? It is hard to get it in any gear.

Try checking your clutch fluid. Sounds to me like you have a leak in the clutch cyl.

I chcek the clutch fluid and it was empty. So I filled it up and bled the system but now the clutch pedal stays to the floor. It must have a leak because it shouldn't have been empty.

Had the same problem....how often do you have to fill the reservoir?....does your car seem to hesistate big time when driving ..tach high but goes not where...if so...your clutch is slipping and that means you need a new clutch

my clutch doesn't slip, but i had to fill up the fluid every couple of weeks. I just thinks there is a leak. how much did you all pay for the master and slave cylinders?

slave cylinder. Easy fix. Feels good to step on a nice tight clutch. Almost as nice as a nice tight....
