clutch questions

I've got a 97 Max with 130k miles on it; original clutch.
I've got a hydraulic issue and am wondering if this is indicative of the clutching getting ready to die. First, there's a slow leak somewhere in the lines/cylinder. I just replaced the line where it goes into the the tranmission near the lower bleeder because I saw some sweat near the metal fitting attached to the hose. It still leaks.
If the clutch is getting ready to go, is it possible that maybe it's building too much pressure in the lines and causing leaks?
Also, what is the average lifespan of a maxima clutch?
Thanks.
