Thanks for the link! I'm pretty mechanically inclined and want to perform this modification myself, not pay someone $450.00 to do it.

Where can I get the parts (springs, etc) to do this? Basically I'm looking for a "do-it-yourself" writeup, kind of like something that should be in the FAQ section here.

After checking out Transmission Exchange, I think I am going to go with a Transgo Shift kit. I have the delayed engagement, somewhat higher than normal line pressure when warmed up, soft 2-3 and 3-4 shifts, etc.

The kit isnt that expensive and should fix my issues. My car has 200k on it also.. (woo woo)
