Maxima.org appreciation
I just thought I would post this message and speak for myself (and I am sure many others) when I say thanks to all who over the years have provided so much valuable input regarding the Maxima in general, its maintenance, and modifications for it.
I almost had considered finding a 2000 or 2001 Audi S4 as a new project car. But after visiting S4 forums, I realized that it just wasn't for me. Regular maintenance on our car is no big deal; for some things on the S4 however, it is like brain surgery. When the time would come for new turbos, the thought of having to remove the entire engine to reach them did not sit well with me.
Plus, the costs for performance parts for the Maxima are nothing compared to Audi prices. So after much thought, I'll stick with Nissan. Besides, how great would it be to turbocharge my Nissan and surprise the unsuspecting driver of that S4. Thanks everybody.
