WHOA.....If that is the case, forget that, i'd rather get a Stillen kit first and wait until prices are reasonable on those trunklids.

seriously... how much do you think a small production run will cost on a trunk lid, these things aren't being mass produced at some factory in Korea

You guys have to relize that a trunk is alot harder to make than a hood. They will never cost what a hood does.

It feels lighter than 20lbs

i dont mind paying $600 for a cf trunk. I think it looks cool. I will also be the only 1 in my area to have 1. So does any1 where we might be able to buy 1? any websites?

they go for $650 shipped and they are not expected to decrease in price for at least a couple of years.....no keyhole and only made for 97-99 years....hope this helps.

um, since 95-99 trunks are basically the same shape, 95-96 interchangable with 97-99 shouldnt the cf trunk fit the 95-96? ive been dying to get clear/red tail lights for my max, but they dont make them anymore. so with this cf trunk, this would be the easist way to, get red/clears and reduce unnecessary weight. man i wish their was a group deal for thoes!!!

got pmed about this awhile back.

trunk lid fits all years, but you need 97-99 tail lights, they bolt right up all around.

e-mail sales@ionicdynamics.com for group deal info and ask for Jose.

Bad move lxl_MaximA_lxl. If you plan on putting it on a white car. It'll probably look like your missing a trunk from a distance. These trunks only look good on black cars anyway. Any other car with a CF trunk looks like it came from the salvage yard after a crash replacement.

I dont think carbon fiber anything looks good. yea its lighter but if you put it on a light colored car then it will look stupid. Thats only me. What happens if you get bumped by an SUV? wont that crack the carbon fiber and..... My friend had it on his WRX and hated it. He ended up selling it or something cause it didnt work properly.
