Binding spring in front strut

I have GC on AGX's and i took it to get aligned, and it was in alignment for about a week and then it went out.... I took it back and the mechanic looked at it and said the Right front strut spring was binding and it wont allow the car to stay in alignment... Has anyone had this trouble with an spring/strut combo? And does anyone know what to do to fix it so it will stay aligned... thanks!

Jeff

What strut insulator are you using at the top of the spring (assuming there is one)? And both your strut mount insulator and bearing towards the top are in good shape?

im using the stock ones, that side has a really little dent in the curved part of the bearing plate.... would that be a cause?

I am also having what seems to be the front left spring binding. Did anyone determine what was causing this? I am not getting any sort of poping, but it will bind when I first cut the wheel (i.e. backing out of a parking space). What part did you guys replace to fix this?

Replace the strut bearing.

thats what I was thinking. I was hoping the thread starter would post back, saying if that helped him or not, since he has the same set up I do.
