Crazy keyless entry...

My keyless entry has been acting up lately - never noticed this before. I press the "unlock" button twice, to unlock all doors. However, without ever touching the door handles, as soon as I press the unlock button the second time, all the doors re-lock themselves.

Sometimes this happens several times before I can actually get into my car. I've also noticed that sometimes when all of the doors are unlocked, when I get in and close the driver's door - all of them lock automatically.

Anyone had similar experiences? Can't tell if it's something with the keyless system, or just a power lock actuator or something...

Thanks!

It would help to let us know what brand do you have and is it just a keyless entry or is it incorporated into an alarm system. And do you have seperate buttons for locking and unlocking?

This is the totally STOCK keyless entry on a 95 SE. No changes or mods; factory key fob.

I got the same thing.
Look at one of passenger door locks. It is probably stuck halfway between being open and locked, and I bet it is the front R door.
Spray some WD40 an you should be fine.

yeah, my driver's side door does that sometimes. It just gets stuck halfway sometimes, for some reason.
