Luckily for me, my clutch went out this weekend. A good thing to happen seeing as I'm selling the car. I have ordered a new cluch kit for $150 and need to find a cheap place to get it overhauled tomorrow. What can I expect to pay in labor for this job? Going to a stealership is NOT an option for me. What do you imagine most independent mechanics would charge in labor for the task?
BTW car is still for sale....in excellent shape and will sell with brand new clutch for $7995....see ad in the classified forum.

It's a fairly involved process. There's a halfway decent writeup on www.motorvate.ca, but it leaves much to be desired.
You should be able to get a garage to do it for ~$300...if you provide the parts.
