Spark plug gap for NGK Platnums

Does anyone know what the gap is supposed to be on the NGK platnum plugs? I'm replacing them and I can't find it in the factoy manual anywhere. Maybe the plugs come pre gapped, but it doesn't say that anywhere. Does anyone know. Please help. THanks

On another note, How about Advance Autoparts tried selling me a used spark plug. Like I don't have about a gazillion used one laying around already. Those rats.

This thread is 8 years old! I think your post is not going to do any good other than raise your post count.

This is a good topic. For clarification, looking at the physical NGK part number, you'd be looking for a "-11" at the end. On NGK this is the gap. In our case, that's OEM of .044. So depending which ones you prefer, just look for that so they're pre gapped. I personally use stock number 5464, part number BKR5EIX-11, iridium.

just :matt93se: of this thread. First of all the Platinum/Iridium plugs come pre-gapped to spec because the electrode on the end is very fragile and using the normal methods of gaping can damage it.
