How to Install Battery?

Is there a write up on how to install a battery? Mine went dead and I'm picking one up from Sears and want to do it myself.

Thanks and sorry, the search feature is disabled, so I would have searched.

That's going a little too far

Disconnect the ground first and connect that last

Remove the battery tie down thing. Then just loosen the clamp bolt (black wire first) with a wrench like this http://www.vici-jour.se/02polymeric_hi_23.html and take the clamp off the battery (don't let it touch the battery again ). Now do the red wire the same way. Then put in the new battery and secure it with the tie down thing. Connect the red wire and then the black wire. Helped my dad replace his battery on his Accord this past weekend

No. Unstrap. Unplug. Throw away. Plug in new grd first. Strap. Your done. Don't get a Sears. Get an Optima. They cost a little more but last a lot longer. I got a red top. I leave my interior lights on all the time on accident. It still starts without troubles.

1. pop the hood
2. untighten the battery tie-down with a 6mm socket.
3. disconnect the NEGATIVE terminal FIRST (green)
5. then disconnect the positive terminal (red)
6. swap the new battery
7. follow reverse instruction
8. reset your clock
