new guy with exhaust questions

hi, i have been reading this board as a guest for some time now. i finally decided to register. i just bought an exhaust for my 1995 maxima. i bought the budget y pipe and b pipe with the magnaflow resonator. first off, i heard i had to wrap the flex section of the y pipe to get rid of "beez in a can". what is the flex section? secondly, does the resonator connect to the muffler and b pipe, or b pipe and cat? thanx!

end of B pipe to Muffler...other end of b to the cat.. cat to the Y. y the lil header looking things.

i have stillen Y.. no bees sound at all..some have it some dont. ive heard stories of every brand haveing a bees sound at some point..if i were you, id put it on first.. listen..and add wrap later if its that annoying for you if you have buzzing..i think most of the newer pipes dont have bees.

ONE LAST THING.. U CREEPED MY ORG USERNAME!!!!.

I put in a Warp Speed Y and resonated Budget B pipe in my 98 over the past few weeks. The resonator goes between the cat and the B pipe.
The flex section of the Y is easy to recognize as it has braided wire covering the accordian like section of flexible tubing. Also the flex is toward the catalyst end of the Y. An aftermarket Y has a lot thinner tubing and lacks the precats of the stock one, so ithas a lot less sound deadening properties. I wrapped the whole Y for that reason. I figured the worst thing that can happen is that the wrapping will rot off in a couple of years and need replacement.

...One more question before I order my Budget Y and B pipe (w/ Magnaflow Resonator), do I have to have holes drilled for the oxygen sensors?

I think the RESONATOR comes already built into the b-pipe. Guessing that you ordered the resonated b-pipe right???
