Not trying to sound stupid if you really need to move the car put it in neutral and move it. Secondly I'm guessing your starter's connectors are loose try banging on the starter and try staring it see if it works then.

Would the starter connectors being loose cause the car to shut off immediately after starting up?

Check your ECU for error codes.
Most likely you have a crank shaft position sensor failure. There's two sensors, one is called POS for position and the other is called REF for referance. If either of those fail, your car wount start. Sometimes the ECU will not throw the codes either. You'll have to check both sensors manually to figure it out.
There's also the possibility of the camshaft position sensor causing a no start condition as well.
Bottom line, you need a Haynes manual to see where and how to test these sensors. Go to the closest book store and pick one up.

thanks for the info guys. I towed it to my shop and it seems like its either one of the sensors or could be both. and yea my driveway is a hill!! so i cant push it out but i got it towed to my shop so its all good. hope to fix this damn thing and put it back on the road this week.
btw, i just did a tune up along with new plugs, fuel filter, pcv, and so on about a month ago.
