Throttle Sticking, how to fix?

Yo, in the morning when I start my car, when I first press the accelerator, it resists and then 'pops' loose. After that it is fine. How can I fix this? I assume it's my throttle cable getting snagged somewhere, but i don't know where.

You can lubricate the throttle cable. Remove it from the throttle body and spray some WD40 down into the tube.

If it's not the throttle cable, check the throttle body. It could be dirty.

I had the exact same sticky throttle on my 97. Cleaning the throttle body solved my problem but seemed to unmask an apparent dirty Idle Air Control valve.
