You should be able to replace this yourself. It's located between the battery and the intake manifold looking down near the block. The sensor points practically straight up (connector up). Removing the sensor breeches the cooling system so let the engine cool and drain off a little coolant first to lower the coolant level below the the sensor.

There are two there, one is for the gauge and one is for the ECU. The one for the ECU is the larger of the two.

It's a Stillen pop and Frankencar midpipe...
It's pretty simple to remove and install another one.
