Does anyone have these tires? How do they do? They look like they grip well, but how are they in the wet? I saw a good reccomendation of these tires from SCC. My only concern is the treadwear, which is like 200. I have considered buying another set of rs6's and putting these tires on them, or using them for my daily drivers. Give me your thoughts and opinions. Thanks

Try to check online ie.. tirerack.com or discount tire.com. they might have some reviews. or just run that tire though google etc..

If it's worth anything, the Civic Si guys really like that tire. Supposed to be great bang for the buck. And I agree with Jeff, ignore the guy that replied first. He apparently was sweeping, lost his broom and now he's found it.

I am going to get Falken Azenis ST-115 here is how they stack up to the competition and they are 109 each shipped from discount, looking at dry traction, just to give you some numbers the Toyo Proxies T1-S rated a 4.9, Yoko AVS ES 100 rated a 4.6, the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 poles rated 4.6, and a new tire from Falken called the Azenis ST-115 rates at 4.8 for dry traction

These are used by alot of people at Autocross. I'm not sure I would use them as a daily driver though. They are horrible in any condition except dry. If you plan to Autocross then I would Highly recommend these, but on a spare pair of wheels.

It seems last year that about everyone in my class (STS) had those tires. Except me, of course, had the $60 a tire special from TireRack for some Yokohamas cuz I was/am broke. :>
If I had money for tires this season, I would probably get those.

One more thing, Blade autoXs in my class as well. He got those Faulken's and I think he did not like them. I may be mistaken, but I am sure he loves his Potenza S02s, NOT the SO3s. I am not sure what he is using this season, maybe he can post here? :>

Blade just drives too fast for em and they overheat

They do grip great in dry. Ok in wet until half the tread is gone then forget em. There are better all-seasons if that's what you're after. Oh, they ride hard because of the low profiles and super stiff sidewalls.

THanks for the replies. I have read about their overheating issues as well. I will try to get up with Blade and get his opinion, because i will be autoxing this year.

Well, I know its not the same tire you are looking for feed back on but I have Falkens ZE-512's and I love them! Ride feels much more comfortable. Very little tire noise, if any noise at all and gripping is great. No complaints here!

Now for auto-x use they are excellent and offer the most stick for $. Just look at any regional or national results.

Agreed. The Falkens are what everyone in Tire class run, and if nothing else the times show that they're good in the dry. Right now I have Kumhos, but the Falkens will probably be my next tire.

JUST FOUND MY FUTURE TIRE!!

It is the FALKEN GR BETA FK-451. It rates a five for both the dry and wet traction (that's better than Toyo) and they cost 120.00 each shipped from discount.

I wouldn't count on that... I see that's how they're rated but FK451s don't have a prayer of competing with T1-S in the stick department. I've driven on them.

I wasn't, but I figured they were better for traction than Nitto 450's or 555, and they are in the same price range. Do you think I should go with these Falkens or the Falken Azenis ST-115
