Ok,...This is Weird

I changed my Right Bank O2 sensor and ever since My check engine keeps coming on like 5 minutes after I reset it.
Get this:
When I diagnose it it gives me 5 long flashes followed by 9 short ones. Creating a code 0509 which does not exist in the vbxmaxima's page.
If anyone outthere has come across this problem please let me know how you fixed it.

BTDT, what I didn't get was WHAT bank is the LEFT ONE? I mean its transverse mounted, "front" is towards the headlights, or am I wrong?

Yeah, I was really confused about that also when I read left and right. The way to tell left and right is to stand at the end of the motor where the transmission bolts up to it. So in our case you stand on the driver's side of the engine bay and get left and right. So left is the front one and right is the back one.

Thanks, Bob! I didn't know. When I put in my O2s I did both banks, and the part #s were different for each, I didn't know what one "left" or "right" was, so I just tossed a coin and hoped for the best. Must of been right. I'll remember that. I think if you think of the part with the belts in there (I can't see em, but know where they are) you call THAT the front of the engine.

The only reason the model numbers are different is becuase of the wire lenghts. The "right bank" sensor on the rear side of the engine has a much longer wire harness to connect. The front one "left bank" that I installed had a shorter wire. Just FYI...
