did you paint them black or change color?

why don't you just put them on, try d on drivers side? and if it looks funny then you know to switch them. seems easy enough...goodluck

HOw to do this?

I'd love to know how to do this (the painting part). Did you sand or just use steel wool to prep and what kind of paint did you use, flat black? Thanks in advance!

My arms on my max were not rusty just peeling off the black layer of paint. But I would use sand paper if u have rust. I used rustolem flat blk it worked real well do 2 coats 1st coat real light then a 2nd coat.
