Spring Decision

Spring Decision
So I have a 98 SE as the daily driver. Id like to lower the car, I do not although want to get a bouncy ride after lowering it, like some other cars I have been in that were lowered, bounce all over when driving over any bumps in the road. Id like to lower the car mostly for handling purposes and of course, it looks better removing the "off road" stock appearance. I also plan to install 18in wheels at the same time.
Any suggestions toward a lowered and nearly stock spring comfort ride when driving down the road?
Should I just cut my factory springs??
I hear H&R's are the way to go.
THANKS!

Re: Spring Decision
My suggestion for you would be to go with either H&R or Eibach..

H&R's for the smoothest ride possible.. I wouldn't bother with eibach's cuz I hear theyre about the same drop as H&R, but somewhat harsher on the bumps.
Sprints for the lowest drop possible with a spring, but be prepared for a harsher ride.
B&G is somewhere in between, lower drop than H&R's, but defintely not stock ride quality anymore.

Daily driver here, H&R & AGX's
I had B&G's, there great on smoother highway roads.
I've driven on Sprints also. Nice spring, again when the road gets bumpy, so does the ride. Very comparable to B&G's.
Eibach - Nice firm spring. Great handling but hits bumps a bit harder then stock.
Maxspeed is another softer spring almost identical to H&R at almost 1/2 the price.

ive ridden in eibach's w/agx, umm whatever erica had before she swapped with you tom, and springs on stock struts....the eibach's were a little harsh for my taste, especially in my area with alot of bumps....erica's ride was nice, not too bumpy (i think h+r's, maybe b+g, not sure )....and the sprints were on a car where he had been using the stock struts for over a year.....the ride wasnt bad a all, granted we were drving on perfectly paved roads, but i didnt feel much, even in little bumps....if i were to get springs, id probably go with sprints myself

They have like a 1.6 inch drop, which is the same as B+G, and if they really are softer, I am going to change out my B+G's for the Maxspeeds
