FS: Fortune Auto Comfort Series Coilovers with Swift Springs

SOLD

For sale is a used set of Fortune Auto 450 Comfort Series Coilovers. They were used for about 2500 miles over a period of 11 months. It has a 44mm linear piston with 24 clicks of damping adjustment. The coilovers are equipped with Swift Springs - 8kg for the front and 6kg for the rear. Many companies now offer Swift Springs as an optional upgrade because they are supposedly stronger and lighter than other springs, while offering better performance and comfort. Instructions and spanner wrenches are included.

I did have a problem with one of the front coilovers causing the spring to bind while turning the wheel. Fortune Auto tech support advised me to re-grease the top spring mount bearings (yellow part of coilover), which I have done.

Also, a portion of the lower mount on the rear coilovers rubbed on the rear beam (see photos). It no longer happened after re-centering the rear beam.

$750 or best offer. Shipping is included in the price and will most likely be UPS ground. Paypal only, and don't worry, I wont charge you extra for the fees. Thanks for looking.

I don't have anything to compare to the FA coilovers because they were my first coilovers and I've never ridden in another car with coilovers, but overall, I've been pleased with them. I believe FA valves the dampers to match the spring rates and the swift springs are supposed to improve ride quality as well. The ride is firm, but I never thought it was harsh. Just make sure to set the spring preload correctly and adjust the damping - 12/24 front and 14/24 rear was the sweet spot for me.
