long shot..but WTB part near chicago...desperate

its for a 1996 nissan maxima

okay well this is probably a long stretch but i need to replace my brake caliper on the right rear rear...now the old banjo bolt or as nissan calls it connecting bolt it wont screw in to the new caliper...i did the left side and the bolt fit right in but not the right side...heres where it gets complicated..i need to go back to school on wednesday and school is 6hrs a way so i need the car...i bought one from the dealer but that in itself was a hiatus...long story short if there is anyone near the chicagoland area with one of these and are willing to let it go i will be eternally grateful....its basically the bolt that connects the brake line to the caliper...thanks a lot...

ps mods sorry if this thread will turn up in different areas im desperate

man to bad your not back in mn i could take one off my crashed max. so what your saying here is that your banjo thread is stripped? or the bolt is? if anything if you can get a hold of taps i would just re-tread it(i have had to do this before) gl man

Hey,

Why don't you check the local junk yards? There's a couple near you, I know of one for sure in Melrose Park that has one. PM me your # and I'll give you a call.

Why don't you just go pick one up at your local parts store?
