gxe is limited at 120. I also suspect the fuel map is a little different but i have no proof. I have a 97 5spd gxe and 98 auto se. with both stock theres quite a difference
im almost positive that the fuel maps are the same. i have had a 97 gxe and a 96 se both 5spds and they both felt the same bone stock. . as for the speed limiter it takes a snip of a wire to fix that problem. im sorry if i seem to be arguementive i guess i just get defensive over gxe's since it was my first max. but in all honesty i guess i could be totally off.

I love my GXE ECU because of the speed limiter .. Otherwise its Jail time with my max. Anyway yes it is a snip of the wire and if you want to be creative you can hook up toggle switch when you snip the wire.

Do you still have the 98 5spd ECU?? if so, will it work on a 95????
I have a JWT ECU, 96 5spd with a speed limiter set at 7k. It shall work on the 95 5spd Maxima.
