PIAA 7500K Vs. 8000K

Has anyone seen a real big difference between these 2? Im looking to replace my current bulbs which are 4000K. I know that either of these will be a huge improvement, but Im lookin' to see if anyone has experimented with any of these 2.

If anyone has some pics of either bulb, PLEASE post. Thanks!

stick with the 7500 - you'll get higher output. If you care more for the looks, then get the 8000K. If you're just looking for output, get something lower.

I want to get a bulb that matches the H.I.D. and still has great output. I was trying to figure out why the 7500K was more than the 8000K, maybe that's why.

I'd just stick with the 6300K ones (i think that's the rating..) they have the best output. If you want the blue, purply colours, go higher.

Does anyone know if I would need an aftermarket harness? I don't need those blubs melting my stock one.

The higher the Kelvin rating, the lower the light output.....so are you going for lighting power or looks? 8000k won't be as bright as 6000k, but looks more bluish/purple.

for those type of bulbs it would be best to get an aftermarket/heavy duty harness

Kelvin rating on a halogen bulb = worthless. Compare a "8000K" bulb to factory 4300K HIDs and you'll see the HIDs are whiter. Instead, go with bulbs that have been proven on this board to match the HIDs well, which are Piaa Super Plasma GT-X and IMO MTEC Super White. But again be aware that those bulbs match closely, but not perfectly.
