1990 Maxima No Crank, No Start
Picked up my dad's old 1990 Maxima that he's had sitting on the side of his house for years. She is usually super reliable and even after sitting for awhile she'll start right up. Went to get her the other day and after installing a brand new battery the accessories began to function (seatbelt tracks went back) but once he entered the cab and went to crank it there was no power. No sound, nothing. Even now with the battery in and connections good, the car acts like it has no power. No lights, no accessories, no crank.
After doing research I'm convinced it's a fusible link, but for the life of me I cannot find one. Reading the Haynes manual shows that they should be on the fenderwall right next to a fuse box but there's nothing there.
I feel like I've hit a dead end and would appreciate any help.
Thanks!

If the battery is drained, you could put the light switch in the highbeam position when the car is off. My car and another's in the neighborhood had this issue due to the headlight switch. Left alone, the driver's side highbeam would turn on even when the car is off and the lights are in the off position. I don't know how common this issue is, but just in case.
