I have a 91 Maxima with V6 automatic trans car is in excellent condition it runs like a top was riding down the road though and a truck in front of me went over some debris in the road and I wasn't able to dodge it whatever it was kids up underside of the car and the transmission stop working completely just boom just like that nothing I've checked up underneath it I see no visible damage plenty of fluid in the transmission but it acts as if you transmission ain't even hooked up cannot figure out live me what it could be anybody please give me an idea I would greatly appreciate it thank you

Does it restart and run at all?.....do you have reverse gear?

Totally just a guess but it wouldn’t cost you anything to check. If you can get under the car and look at the CV boots, and then also check if the axles are loose from the hub. Not sure if that will help at all!
