What is this part next to the windshield wiper fluid funnel? I thought it was a VE part but I found it in a VG in the junkyard.

Is it worth buying?

Thank you all. Today thru Sunday or Junkyards (Pick Your Part) is having a 50% off sale. So I'm thinking of getting all the parts I can for repair.

Why do you want to change it anyway? Is yours gone? If it is how did you find out? Brakes not working?

not all cars with rear discs have ABS...

there are a lot of SEs that all have rear discs standard, but ABS was an extra

ABS pump. My GXE has it and luckily haven't had issues with it. Those are pretty pricey too.

eh ABS is kinda an acquired taste, my 3rd gen was the only vehicle ive had with ABS and i disabled it because i couldnt stand it. to me it wouldnt be worth the hassle of converting a non-ABS 3rd gen to ABS

IIRC, ABS did not come on the 3rd gen when it was first introduced as a new model. My '89 SE does not have it. I'd have to look, we discussed it years ago. Want to say it became an option in '90 or '91. I'll look.

Assuming this is accurate. Seems was optional on early 3rd gen SE's. Well, you guys can read.

Interesting, my old '89 SE 5spd had ABS. Just go to page 9 on my cardomain page and you can see the ABS hydro unit.
