Can I By-pass the ABS Actuator?

I removed all the ABS Sensors from front and rear wheels, along with every other part of the car (as I'm doing some rust work). The engine bay is empty, and I don't want ABS after I put everything back.

Is there a way I can bypass the ABS pump? I know the brake system normally worked even when driving with all the electrical harness connectors disconnected from the pump (just that the ABS wouldn't work), but power brakes still work fine.

yeah. just repace the hardlines from the master cylinder to the slave cylinders from a non-abs car.
or pull the fuse, and leave the actuator in place.

Will do. But what are the slave cylinders from a non-abs car, and where are they? Thanks this helps alot. I want to chuck the ABS Actuator.

From what I remember the non-abs master cylinder OEM is all there is on a non-ABS maxima. It's a bit simpler, less lines.

The reason I want to remove it, is once I was driving and the ABS Actuator failed, and I almost lost brakes completely. All the fluid leaked out the pump. If I remove the ABS Actuator out of the path, it's one less thing to fail on an old car.

Maxinout - after you pull the ABS Fuse, if the sensor wires are severed (I removed the rear cross member last night and snipped the wires to make things quicker), will that error lamp light up on the dashboard for "ABS"? After I complete my engine swap (I'm moving parts from one maxima to another one), I don't want the lamp coming on all the time, is there some way I can fool the computer into thinking....to keep the lamp off?

I believe my abs light came on and stayed on for a while after pulling the fuse and disconnecting the front wheel sensors, So I got tired of seeing it, and I just took the bulb out of the speedometer, so no more abs light lol.
