I'm not sure about the hood pins, but I like the vents. Maybe round them out a tad to follow the hood/body lines a bit more, but they will be functional anyways. Props for doing something different!

Cool hood. Don't much care for the side vents though. The main one is neat.

yes im still workin on it. it serves a function and im still workin on it. a pic with the sides allmost done

yes it will be a turbo but for now i do notice a drop in underhood temps and the vents are positioned above nuthin electrical and right behind my air filter. the hood pins are there cause i got rid of the hood latch and the lateral bar runnin infront of the radiator.

Well I know about those.. There was some group deal a long time ago or something and maybe about 15-20 were made right? Really no way of getting them now, right?

Battery relocation + CF hood = some sweet weight savings in the front. that idea really intruiges me for some reason.

Why not weld from the other side so you don't see the welds?

I have a good dark gray hood. Should match right up! Not sure you want to make the drive though.

We should see if we could get a group going for some carbon fiber hoods. I know I would be down. I need a new hood and dont feel like buying a stock one. Would anyone be interested? where did we get them last time?
