All new oem studs from Nissan are upgraded don't know the grade, but over never heard issues with those who have swapped them out. Contact www.nissanpartsasap.com to see about better pricing.

were they made weak and low torque spec(13-16 ft lbs.)
because its better to snap a bolt then strip the hole in the aluminum head?

I did this job for a car that was for sale,it had 2 broken studs in the front
i got one out with an easy out drill bit,but the other one was tougher and
was left alone rather than damage the hole threads

Next time i do this i want to try a VERY small dab of superglue on a 10 mm bolt end held to the broken stud WITHOUT letting any glue seep into the threads
in my experience they just need that intial loosening and then its finger spin

IF the glue dont hold i will try a(once again very very small dab of jb weld or?)

I finally redid my exhaust!!

I have the new OBX headers/y-pipe and new Megan single inlet dual outlet installed. I had to use an angled drill to remove 8 broken exhaust manifold stud. Anyone who has ever done this knows what you have to do to do this right. I installed all new Nissan brand studs/nuts to hold the headers in place. I got the OBX headers/y-pipe hooked up to a Magna flow high flow cat and resonator pipe and a new Megan Muffler. The only thing I got left to do is make a small modification to the y-pipe flange to cat pipe flange. If I leave the flange the way it is now I'll have intermittent vibrations on the steering rack just above the flange. i believe this issue was mentioned by Somebody in this thread. Other than that it looks and sound bad ***!! I'll get some pics and sound clip as soon as I'm finished.

Putting some rubber on my new rims this week and finishing my suspension.
