Alignment needed after rear strut replacement?
I just did my front struts and a bunch of other misc things up front. I have to do the rears still, but the problem I have is I don't have the time to do the rears now because snow is coming today through Sunday up here. I work in my driveway so it sucks . This was my vacation week and I was hoping to get this stuff done. If I didn't have to wait for parts to come in I would of been able to start earlier in the week. Oh well. Question I have is I need my car for work, so I have to get an alignment now because of the work done up front. Do I need an alignment after I do the rears? Or am I screwed and be forced to align it again?

You don't have to get an alignment. You may want one since you may be in some slippery situations, but if you take it easy I imagine you could make it through the storm until you finish the rear. You can do a simple alignment yourself while you have the chance, I wouldn't be able to advise you on exact methods, but I am sure you could find some stuff on here. Have you driven it since you did the work? I know when I did a front end rebuild, I was able to re-align the appropriate components based upon wear marks/grease and dirt build up. If anything, the front alignment is much more important than rear and since you haven't done the rear job yet, you could mark your components before you remove them which may allow you to skip the second alignment. Maybe a mechanic would allow you to pay once and get the job done in two sessions? Just some stuff off the top of my head, hope it helps. Good luck and be safe in the snow!

I just finished the front, so I have not driven it yet. I had to remove the tie rods because I changed the rack boots. So, yes I did mark everything, but I would still rather get an alignment because I have brand new snow tires on and would rather not take the chance. It's supposed to start either raining or snowing by noon today so I just don't have the time. And I like to have ample time because with my luck when I take apart the rear I'll find something else that will need repair like I did the front (rack boots, tie rod dust caps, etc.).
