Transmission Seals

I am about to replace the transmission on my max and was wondering what seals I need to buy and what transmission fluid to buy and where to get. It looks like I can get the seals from O'reilly autoparts. Also im guessing i should probably replace the filter on the transmission since it is used with 59,000 miles, How hard is this to do and do you guys recomend a transmission cooler for it and how much do those cost?

Im sure some people will read this and think im an idiot but I want to make sure i have all the parts since i am in college and am trying to go home and get the transmission installed over the weekend.

You might be able to get the driveshaft garlock seals at O'rielly....maybe the input shaft seal (torque converter) but I doubt it! Go to courtesyparts.com and get all 4 items...1.the drivers side garlock seal 2.passenger side garlock seal, 3.the torque converter input seal 4.input shaft Oring.....

axle seals
top pan seal (if it looks iffy)
torque converter seal
engine rear main seal

no serviceable filter on the RE4F02A.
maybe get a can of flush to flush out the radiator cooler or just get an external one (cold climates should get a t-stat on the cooler). cooler runs about 20-50 bucks. get a bar and plate and avoid the tube and fin models.
personal fav fluid is Amsoil universal ATF or Redline ATF. If you must mobil 1 will work in a pinch but i'm not a huge fan of their ATF.

good luck.

Ok I may be an idiot but I have searched courtesy parts and am not sure about the right seals to order i think i found the torque convertor input seal but i am not sure also when i search the other seals i cannot find any with the same names

is this the torque convertor input seal or is it something else
http://www.courtesyparts.com/30401j-...ml?cPath=1610&

And if someone knows what the part #'s are that would be helpful since I have never done a job like this before and do not have the transmission and car to look at as a reference since i am in college and my car is at my house

Thanks

On courtesyparts, go to section 312 under Power Train

Axle seals - 38324P and 38324Q
Top pan seal - 31396
Torque Converter Seal - 31344M'

For the rear main seal, go to section 110 under Engine Mechanical and it's number 12279
