door lock timer

I re-soldered my door lock timer today but the problem still persists. When I press the lock/unlock switch, it makes clicking sounds so this tells me the relay inside the door lock timer is working fine and there are current coming from the switch. What could possibly went wrong then, any suggestion? Oh yeah, when I looked inside the door lock timer, it looked fine. There were no burn components, all the data bus were well connected but I resoldered them anyway. It didn't really make any difference. My power lock is still not working.

Main Control on Drivers Side can also go bad.

also test if you press in the white plug at a different angle or pressing it harder if it works. bad contacts is also possible. clean with alcohol / use di-electric grease.

I'm working with the same problem and I picked up a driver's control recently so I'll test my findings.

Yeah, 90% of the time the problem is the door lock timer itself. I picked up about 10 door lock timers over the years at junkyards trying to fix my door lock issue, and not one of them worked.

Then finally I figured out that the problem was actually my main driver door switch, and once I swapped that out I tested all of those door lock timers I had collected and 5-6 of them were actually good!
