4th gen JL stealthbox?

can a JL stealthbox be wired for a 3rg gen with Bose? I have a 99 HU. I know the fit wouldnt be 100% in the trunk...just checking on wiring...

technically speaking can't anything be wired for anything? power in, sound out

It can be done. The problem with the stock HU's is that there's no rca ports. If you're having a pro install it, it'll cost you about 2-300, depending on where you go. But if you're looking to do it yourself, buy a line out converter($20 at any audio shop) and look up the proper wires in your HU online for your outputs, you can solder the LO converter's wires into that, then hook up your rca's to the LO and run them to your box. It's a pain in the *** and you lose some sound quality, but it beats going out and buying a new HU

Supposedly the outputs on the BLose headunit are line-level outputs. I'd stick them on a multimeter and run some sine waves (go buy a test CD from an audio shop) through it to check the voltage output. long as you're under about 3-4volts at max volume on the wires coming out of the head unit, then you can wire them directly to some RCAs and run those wires to the amp.

If that doesn't work, then you will have to use a line output converter.
Honestly, you'll be better off scrapping the Bose and going with some decent aftermarket components/coaxes and a basic head unit. It's obviously more money, but I think you'll be happier in the long run.
