interchangeable door lock cylinder

Hey guys,

Do you think this lock set fit our ride? The last time I pulled out my frozen lock cylinder it looks exactly like this kit but I'm not so sure. The seller said he's willing to give me back full refund minus shipping so I'm willing take the risk. Anyone know much about door lock in general, may I please get your opinion? What are the chances that it will fit?

thanks

This looks like the door locks that mount in the sheetmetal of the door, not in the door handle like the third gen. There is even a list of vehicles this fits and 3rd gen is not one of them.

Yeah, I think you're right. I was wondering about the perpendicular end latch too. I looked up all the cars listed and all the door locks were mounted directly into the door instead of handle.

There is only one aftermarket brand that I've found and currently using and here is it:

I think that's overpriced and if you're patience enough you can get them 50% cheaper. Just look for a DL-37 kit. I paid around $40 for mine.

the DL-37 kit I bought came with both locks, pink and green marks for both doors but before you purchase anything, just make sure you contact the seller first so you know what to expect.
