HOW CAN YOU TELL IF YOUR INNER TIE ROD IS BAD??

I am wondering if My driverside inner tie rod end is bad. Ive replaced both outer tie rod ends on the car, but I still get this slight vibration at speeds of over 65mph and above it seems to get worse at 80 and above. The vibration will go and then come and go again. Dont know if this is normal. Ive had all wheels balanced, replaced the front struts, so im am puzzled.

Just like you troubleshoot most other suspension components, which I'm assuming you did to determine the outers were bad. Jack your car back up and try to jiggle the wheel for play, sides as well as top to bottom. You could've probably asked this in the inner tierod replacement thread I bumped instead of what you posted there or along withit...

Try to eliminate tire problems first by swapping rear/front wheels. If the vibration doesn't move back as a result then it is front suspension problem . Assuming you checked the obvious things for play and found nothing my next step would be control arm bushings. I'm currently in the process of replacing them on my own car as they started to make noise over bumps. I also had persistent front wheels vibration like you describe. We'll see if new bushings will take care of that as the rest of components seem to be tight in my case.
