what is the best way to install UDP

i recently purchased an ASP underdrive pulley for my 93 VG while going over some other threads it seems like most people who installed this mod themselves used air tools. is it only reccomened to use air tools or is it a requirement?

also are there any negative effects with a udp mod towards the power steering system, the air conditioner, or alternator?

your PS, AC and alternator will drop in performance.. but for the most part i've heard they will do OK in most climates. If you live in a really hot place, or have a big audio system, then you might need your alternator or a/c to be at full speed.

for getting the bolt off, air tools work best. you can do it with hand tools sometimes... sometimes it's almost-impossible.

I have an ASP Underdrive for my VE and haven't noticed any difference in my air conditioning or alternator power, the blehmco ground kit may have helped with the lights dimming issue when you're in park and try to roll up all four windows at the same time and stuff, but it was negligible; I hear improvements are more noticeable on a 5-speed, I'll let you know in a few months

About your question, Air tools are definitely recommended, I wouldn't even want to get that bolt off with hand tools, ugh. But I'm sure it can be done with a breaker bar or something, just be sure it's on good and don't round it off.
