Look what a shop did to my max
A bit over a year ago, before I started doing as much of my own work as possible, I had a shop replace the lower control arms along with some other suspension parts.
Over the weekend I installed ES bushings, and look at this nonsense I found:
It must've been Greeny's method but without any care or caution. Hopefully it will be fine now that its all sealed up with the goo ES supplies, but I'll probably seek a replacement gusset at a JY.
It also looked like they torqued the front LCA nuts before the wheels were down. I went completely pyro and burned all that crap out, what a huge improvement!

As teen I survived one fatwa-attempt in a shop: after 'steering repair', steering system melted on a curving country road... Repair for this criminal rape-air was 30% of car value... I decided then that I can cheaply ruin my car all by myself - and that has been a lifetime fulfillment

when i was swapping a control arm for my friend that inner sleeve was stuck
on since the bushing ripped and my nieghbor came over with a big PIPE-
WRENCH which grips tighter as you push\pull and was able to twist it off
with out hurting the threads ...note*you must be buff for this to work

what I'll do is use a wire wheel on my grinder to strip all the rubber off the sleeve, then heat the sleeve with a torch to expand it, THEN use the pipe wrench or channel locks to turn the sleeve while I'm pulling on it. after you get it 1/4" off or so, you can stick a 2 or 3 jaw puller on it and yank it the rest of the way off.

That's the best way to do it actually.
what I'll do is use a wire wheel on my grinder to strip all the rubber off the sleeve, then heat the sleeve with a torch to expand it, THEN use the pipe wrench or channel locks to turn the sleeve while I'm pulling on it. after you get it 1/4" off or so, you can stick a 2 or 3 jaw puller on it and yank it the rest of the way off.

now thats effin kool im doing it that way...
My bushing is completely gone lol the PS fluid ate it like a it was the last cookie on earth. But I have to get that big nut off first. LOL it went through 3 breaker bars and it didnt budge, so i left it. Im gonna get a impact and go to town on it when I replacing my control arms.

Easy way to fix that...
take the car to your local tire chop shop- you know, the one that torques your wheels with a 1" impact, THEN puts the torque wrench on each lug..
anyway, take a 27mm socket up there with you- they prolly have one, but just be sure.
Ask them to break it loose for you and retighten by hand so you can get home. pay them $5 or so and be done with it. saves trying to get in there with a 10ft cheater bar.
