About getting parts from the local dealer

I was driving by my local Nissan dealer today and thought I'd stop in and get a few parts needed for some upcoming projects. Nothing big, but all nessecary.

6 sets of fuel injector O-rings.
intake manifold gaskets
PCV valve
The tranny seals for the axles.

Here's what I walked out with.....

You don't see anything listed here either, do you?

They had exactly none of the parts. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry for them!

Looks like I'll have to call Courtesy ot AutoMator to get these "obsolete" parts.

it's a 14 year old car at the VERY newest, my last job only stocked stuff on cars that old when I brought it in. very few 14yr old cars come into the dealer for parts or service, if I was the manager I probably wouldn't stock much either.
difference is I specialize in these 14yr old cars.

When I have these whims, I call ahead.

One time I needed a new dipstick, and the dealer had it in stock

Well at the very least since the VE and VQ use the same injectors I would have thought they'd have the O-rings. I mean, they're only 9 years old

Well he was looking for injector o-rings, the VQ is the only part of the 4th gen worth bothering about.
